Ok, so I have a bit of a set back on my build depending on this thread. In short I purchased a Z32TT as a project and have been building it since this last fall. Engine is removed, and has been oil drained for a few months now. I had a few upgrades in line, but I was smart enough to not do a compression test on the motor until now, months later, engine pulled and oil drained. I want to upgrade some major parts like turbos, intercoolers, injectors, ect. I failed to do a compression test like an idiot before pulling the engine but these thins do happen to a 1st timer. So is there a correct way to check compression on a VG motor that has been sitting, no oil for about 3-4 months? I know squirting oil into the cylinder will work, but i don't want a high or off reading. Should I just though new rings in or leave it and build a new long block to through in later? I need some reliable opinion. Thanks for the help...
